poème

travel travel travel
travel till you're done
travel till you've met every single one
travel just to chase the sun

travel travel travel
travel till you're done
travel till you know everyone
travel just for fun

travel travel travel
travel because someday you will be done
travel enough to really know someone
travel till you see this world as one

Arrivées et Départs

A departure can only be taken with the hopes of some sort of an arrival. An arrival is only achieved through departure. In order to depart, there must be some place to go. In order to arrive, one must have some place to come from.

Yet, it seems the true moment of achievement lies between the two; a moment made of triumph and anticipation when one realizes that the simple beauty in taking a risk; the act of going out into the cold and facing the undetermined, uncertain, and unfamiliar, while the bed remains at home, warm and familiar. It is the moment when one embraces the unknown and accepts that, in order to possess knowledge, one must first be in absence of it.

These are some photos from my first excursion to The Gorges of Verdon with the CSU progam

It seems like I just arrived yesterday, but it has already been nearly 4 months since I landed in Marseille. So where are all the photos and fantastically intriguing stories?! I know, I know-- I've been claiming that a blog is in the works for several months now, so here it trully is! ( also this is a promise to actually update it regularly)
